About the author: Sean Cooper

I've been a full-time freelance automotive writer for six years now. I started out writing about all sorts of subjects for "article mills" as a way of making a little extra money to supplement my regular income. After a job for an SEO company in the USA led to ongoing work writing about the automotive world, I decided to specialise in cars, trucks, SUVs, sports cars, EVs and the surrounding industry on both sides of the Atlantic.

In the past I've been commissioned by the likes of Auto Express, Carwow, Car Preview, Gearheads, Contract Hire and Leasing, the Honda Engine Room and many more. I've written for insurance, leasing, SEO companies and dealer websites and advertising agencies in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and the Middle East. In early 2017 I began a short-term contract working regularly for the Relaxnews/AFP news agency in Paris, France, which then went on to last almost 18 months.

Whether you require blogs, advertising copy, SEO-focused articles, reports, reviews or breaking news, you don’t have to look any further for top quality work delivered on time, every time.

Prior to become a full-time freelance writer I had almost a decade working in the retail motor trade for brands including Land Rover, Range Rover, Toyota, Honda and Ford. I started off as a trainee sales executive with Europe's biggest dealer group, and over the next few years progressed to Business manager (retail finance specialist), Sales Manager and General Manager.

With plenty of contacts at all levels of the industry, you'll find I have an expert and informed insight in to business and how it runs and it gives me an advantage over writers who have never worked "at the coalface" of the auto business.

Previous employment

My previous employment before the motor industry was wide, varied and very, very interesting, and this wide range of experience gives me a broad perspective and a way of looking at things in an objective and dispassionate way.

In the past I have owned and run a mail order business, been a PADI scuba diving instructor, and managed several businesses for others including a major German discount supermarket and shellfish company, to name just two.

A lot of the work I've done over the last couple of years has been for agencies and SEO companies so I didn't get a credit. But here a few links to work I've had published in the past to give an idea of what I can produce:
